Salone Nautico

Salone Nautico Internazionale

Genoa · Liguria · Italy

Genoa has held its boat show since 1962, on a waterfront redesigned by Renzo Piano, and it remains the largest in the Mediterranean by exhibitor count — sail, motor, superyacht, components and services, with a large proportion of the fleet afloat and boardable rather than on stands.

Confindustria Nautica publishes visitor and exhibitor figures per edition; we have not collected a dated one here.

The month is September. The show's position in the season is commercial: it follows Cannes and sits near Monaco, and the three together determine the Italian industry's order book.

It is open to the public as well as the trade, which distinguishes it from several fairs in this atlas, and Genoa has the hotel capacity to absorb it without the strain a small town would feel.

PlanningSeptember, not August — it opens the autumn boat-show season before Cannes and Monaco close out.
