Starlite is staged in the Cantera de Nagüeles, a disused quarry in the hills above Marbella whose stone walls make a natural amphitheatre. It runs nightly for most of July and August with international and Spanish headliners, and continues afterwards as a club and restaurant site until dawn.
No attendance figure is recorded here in this pass.
It is as much a social fixture of the Costa del Sol summer as a music festival, with a charity gala attached and a well-documented celebrity audience — which is a fair description of Marbella in August generally.
The season is a programme of individual nights rather than a festival weekend. Marbella's accommodation in that window is among the most expensive in Spain, and the quarry is a taxi ride above the town.
PlanningA long July–August season of single nights, with a late-night club programme after the concerts.
