Abu Dhabi Comedy Season brings international stand-up to the Etihad Arena on Yas Island and to smaller rooms around the city, with the bill announced act by act rather than as a single programme.

Two corrections travel with this entry. It is called the Comedy Season, not Comedy Week — the emirate's own tourism board uses only that name. And it is not a week: both the 2024 and 2025 editions ran from April into July, which makes it a three-month window and puts it across the hottest part of the year when the outdoor calendar has shut down.
That second point is what earns it a record. From April the Emirates empty out of open-air events, and an indoor season at an arena is one of the few things still running.
