Mad Cool

Mad Cool is Madrid's large international music festival, held at Villaverde since 2022, and it has changed shape: the edition announced for 2026 is a shorter format than the four- and five-day runs of earlier years.

The 50,000 that circulates is not an attendance figure. It is the declared capacity per day of the new shortened format, from an announcement made in November 2025 — before the edition it describes. A capacity is what a site will hold, not a count of who came, and multiplying it by the number of days produces a number that has never been measured.
