Around forty shops from across Japan set up in Komazawa Olympic Park and serve their regional styles — Hakata tonkotsu, Sapporo miso, Kitakata shōyu, Wakayama, Onomichi, Tokushima — with a ticket system rather than cash at each stall.
The line-up rotates: roughly half the shops serve for the first days and are replaced for the second, so the two halves of the run are effectively different events.
No attendance figure is collected in this pass.
Ramen is regional in Japan to a degree that surprises visitors — the broth, the noodle thickness, the toppings and the bowl all differ by city — and this is the one occasion on which the range is assembled in a single place rather than chased across the country.
PlanningA late-October window in Komazawa Park; the line-up changes halfway through, so the two halves are different events.
