The Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship is the emirate's stop on the DP World Tour, played at Yas Links on Yas Island and organised by the Abu Dhabi Sports Council. It reached its twentieth edition in 2025.
No attendance figure is collected in this pass.
The planning fact is that it moved. For most of its history this was a January tournament, and it is the fixture a visitor to Abu Dhabi in January would have been told to look for. The 2025 edition was played in November, inside the run-in to the season's end, and a January traveller will now find nothing.
The entry is here because the partner's register had no golf in Abu Dhabi at all — a search of sixty-two records returned none — and because a date that has moved is worth more to a reader than a date that never changes.
PlanningFOUR DAYS IN NOVEMBER. This was a January tournament for most of its life and a January trip will no longer find it.
