Kunst Zürich is a contemporary art fair for galleries that are not in Art Basel — a perfectly respectable position in a country whose June fair takes all the oxygen — with an emphasis on emerging and mid-market work.
No attendance figure is collected in this pass.
Its position in the Swiss art calendar is autumn, against Basel's June, and its scale is an order of magnitude smaller.
The fair's dates and even its continuity have shifted in recent years, which is worth recording as a caution rather than smoothing over: this is an entry where a reader should confirm with the organiser before booking, and the Codex does not have a stable recurrence rule for it.
PlanningAn autumn window; the fair's dates and format have moved in recent years, so confirm before travelling.
