Xposure shows documentary, press and wildlife photography at a scale rare outside Perpignan or Arles — large printed exhibitions, with the photographers giving talks and running workshops across six days at the Expo Centre Sharjah.

The festival has become the Gulf's principal gathering for photojournalism, and its exhibition programme regularly carries work on subjects that are not otherwise easily shown in the region.
Entry to the exhibitions is free; the workshops and portfolio reviews are ticketed. February is the heart of the Sharjah cultural season, overlapping the Light Festival and, in odd years, the opening of the Biennial.
